Yearly Planning
An essential component for any successful team, this program provides the steps to a full understanding of development, preparation and planning.

How does a successful coach compact a whole seasons worth of skill development, systems, tournament scheduling, player/parent meetings, and many other important aspects into one thoughtful and organized season?

The Yearly Planning Program will properly assist coaches with developing a championship team and leave coaches with a template of their season’s plans and goals, while providing visual methods of communicating these plans to associate coaches, players, management, and especially parents.

Creating Offense
Does your team lack the offensive punch needed to win games? Are you frustrated with your team’s lack of offensive output?

“Creating Offense” assists coaches in developing practices and off-ice mentality that will help your team create offense. First through a presentation about creating the proper mentality to create an offensive team, and then through “chalk talk” that will help coach’s understand the key attributes to an offensive attack, this presentation will leave coaches with the proper knowledge to develop a more offensive team.

The presentation will include handouts and slideshows that will illustrate proper offensive methods and include drills and teaching methods that coaches can use to strengthen their team’s offensive output.

This presentation for coaches is coupled nicely with the On-Ice Program about Creating Offense which will allows the opportunity for on-ice instruction for you and your team.

Special Teams
Special Teams can be the difference between winning and losing a game. This presentation will give coaches the strategies needed to create effective Special Teams.

Included in this presentation are rules for effective special teams play and tips to give your players the edge to make them better at this much needed skill. Also, drill sheets on skill development aspects and how to properly implement these drills to your players will be illustrated. All this will be designed to effectively put together a systematic power play attack, and an effective penalty kill.

This presentation for coaches is coupled nicely with the On-Ice Program about Special Teams which will allow the opportunity to show you and your team the special teams concepts in a practice format.

The Democratic Coach
Statistics continue to show that when players feel they have some ownership into the decision making processes of a team, players perform better. The impact of Democratic Coaching, the theme of Mr. Giancola’s M.Ed. thesis, has profound benefits for team performance. After seeing this presentation, you will learn to the tolls necessary to be a better communicating coach while increasing the success of your team’s performance, relationships, and the development of their leadership skills.

This program includes presentations and templates to assist you in creating a democratic process within your team, while strengthening your own role as a leader. The Democratic Coach is not to be confused with a Laissez-Faire style of leadership. In fact, statistics show that the Democratic Coach has more control and a stronger leadership role as he or she earns the respect of their players by helping them foster their own leadership skills.

This program is a must for organizations and teams who wish to develop their coaches into progressive and innovative teachers of the modern world athlete.
